Cookehz!! Remember that Almost Gluten-Free Cookie post? Well, voila! Internet says you’re supposed to mix different kinds of gluten-free flour together. Also, Reeni suggested I zap some of the oats in a blender. (Heck, I zapped them all!) And I chanced upon a recipe that called for peanut butter. PEANUT BUTTER! That should make things sticky, eh, why didn’t I think of that? And the brilliant part about that was I had a new jar. Remember that post about Richard and the salad dressing? Yes, my PB is unhomogenized, so the oil was still separated and floating, and I used that oil to fill in for part of the butter, because I was unwilling to part with the butter I’d just bought, as I’d forgotten to buy some for this purpose. And since this is the first time I’ve ever put peanut butter in cookies, it’s paws down the best ones I’ve ever made!! Ahem. Juste pour moi.
