Year-end Turkey

08dec31a.jpg
The turkey was supposed to be for Christmas, but we’re finally making it now. Here’s me making the cranberry sauce. I never knew cranberries were so hard–they clunk into the pan like peanut M&Ms. Boil in syrup and simmer for a bit. It will thicken as it cools, so let it linger on the counter for a while. Yes, you have to. Yes, you have to. Yes, you have to let it linger. Ha ha ha.

I don’t feel well; my throat is a bit scratchy. Joe was game to see fireworks at City Hall, but just the thought of it made me sick. It’s freezing, for one. For two, I just got my Tiger installation in the mail and can’t wait to use it. Woohoo! So offhand, my New Year’s Resolutions.

1. Watch more CSI.
2. Go to England.
3. Find work.

Preferably in that order.
